Berislav Blagojevic

Berislav Blagojevic was born in 1979. He’s the author of four books: Lamentacija po Sofroniju (2005), Trebao sam biti riječ (2005), Ja, revolucionar (2010) and Revolucionar (2012). His poetry and prose have been published in numerous literary magazines both domestically and abroad, including Koraci, Sarajevske sveske, Nova Zora, Književnik, Putevi, Riječ, and Unus Mundus. His work has appeared in numerous poetry and short story anthologies, including: Ja sam priča (Banja Luka), Lapis Histriae 2011 (Umag), Art Attack II (Zagreb), Sea of Words (Barcelona), Najkraće priče 2009 (Beograd) and others. In 2010, Blagojevic won first prize in the Goethe Institute/Alliance Français competition for the best short story in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in 2011, one of his short stories won the Avlija Magazine Award. His work has been translated into English, Polish, Spanish and Macedonian. He currently lives and works in Banja Luka.
